H&R Block at 201 West Jefferson Avenue, Effingham, Illinois.

I’ll probably never come back. We called to make an appointment and they said no need to come in today and we will get them done today. We went in and wait for 30 minuets the lobby was full. A lady said she had been waiting for over an hour and half. Went to the counter and asked when she would be called back because she had been then for over an hour. They told her she was next. They then called someone else up. She asked what gives and she told her oh they had an appointment. Calling people up because they had an appointment is fine I get that. But don’t tell people they can come in and they will get to them. Basically this lady and 6 other couples were all told to come in today they would get to us no appointment needed. And we all kept getting pushed back to those who made appointments. I’m just frustrated that they act like they are not busy and say we don’t need an appointment then this happens. They will be less busy for years to come because im taking my business elsewhere.

My best advice if you do decide to come here is they are going to tell you “ you don’t need appointment come on in today” they are going to try and convince you to not make an appointment.... make an appointment!
